History of Lata Mangeskar

Late Mangeshkar is one of the greatest singers of the Hindi film making. She is listed in the Guinness Book of World report as the mainly recorded artist in the earth. She has sing more than 30,000 solo, duet songs in 20 different languages from 1948 to 1987. At this time, it should way over 40,000. Lata Mangeshkar was born on 28th Sept, 1929 in a place called Indore. Dinanath Mangeshkar was her father. He was a well-known standard singer himself. Lata was introducing to music at an extremely young age. Lata Mangeshkar is truly fascinating life style.

When her father passed away on that time Lata Mangeshkar was very young and after that the all family dependant on Lata mangeskar. She handled her families of economic situation, she played roll in many films from 1942 to 1948. Her first Hindi film Aap ke Sewa Main (1947). She debuted as playback singer in a Marathi. Unluckily the song was reduced out. That time the film production was lined by female singers who had heavier and Sweet voices like Shamshad Begum and Noor Jehan. While audition for the movie of Shaheed, she was rejected because her voice is thin. But Ghulam Haider seen the possibility and give her a chance for singing in the film Majboor.

Finally she got four major hits from the films Andaaz, Barsaat, Mahal and Dulari. The song ‘Aayega Aanewala’ from Mahal was a super hit after that Lata safe in a firm position in the industry. Music industry had a large makeover with the coming of Lata Mangeshkar. Lata mangeskar also introduced her sister in film industries as Asha bhosle.

She has sung with well-known singers like Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi and Mukesh etc. She has perfect almost every kind of music. Her determination and success made her most powerful women in the industry. Due to some confusion she stopped singing with Mohammed Rafi. Her power was so huge so they come back. Actually the music industry and every music director wanted to work with her. She understands the requirement of each song and sang without fault. She is the only second singer in the non-classical category. She has received three national awards and eight Film fare awards.
